The Commission

Strength is defined as power by reason of influence, authority, resources and numbers. Being strong means to have or retain strength while being weak means the lose or losing of strength. I want to petition that we, the men, must be weak. WHAT?

Here it go. 2 Corinthians 12 spells out a man that has been wounded. So, his strength is leaving him. He asked the one that he has out his trust in to take away the source of his pain and he refuses. In fact, he refuses three times to take the source of the man's fleshy pain away. He leaves him with this message in verse 9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness". The man, Paul's, natural strength could not deal or address the pain in the flesh nor allow for him to take it away himself. He became weak in the flesh or natural. The Lord, at that point, was able to show up and show out within his vessel so show him strong HE is.

The point: We, as men, must move past pride, anger, stiffneckness, covetousness and past failures to understand the Lord still wants us and he wants to show our wives, sons, daughters, parents, co-workers and others that watch us what he can do when a man is weak in the flesh so he can access (remember the definition of strength) the strength that God has given him in the spirit. We have access to a strength unmatchable.

So, allow yourself to become weak so the Lord can refill you with him. Go this way with it...when you feel weak during a workout, you take in the things that will give you the strength to endure more for the betterment of your health. First natural than spiritual...
